Senior Year (FC)

Wow... how the year went by so fast. My senior year was like a roller coaster ride. It was fun, crazy, hard, stressful, scary and basically a mixture of everything. It was hard and stressful because I had 2 history regents I needed to take. Without those regents, I was this close about to put my risk of not graduating on time. From the beginning of my senior year, I just been thinking about the regents. My mind was so stressed out because I was so afraid of not passing it in January. When taking the regents, it was the most scariest feeling ever. I felt like this was my only chance even tho I can take it in June again. However, that is not what I wanted. I wanted to pass both of them in January and get it over with. I prayed and wished that I would pass them. And what happen? I PASSED BOTH OF THEM! I was so shocked!! The day I found out that I passed was the day I felt so relieved of everything. That STRESS I carried with me literally went away. It was such an amazing feeling to get that out the way and not let that affect my prom and graduation. 

PROM WAS LITERALLY THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'LL NEVER FORGET! I honestly had such an amazing time with everyone. ESPECIALLY with my prom date who is my boyfriend. He made that day so special. He mad my night and made it feel so alive. When he came over that day and was waiting for me to get out, he couldn't get his eyes off me. I couldn't get my eyes off of him either. We took so many pictures and had the best time of our lives that day. This is a memory that I will never forgot. Can't wait for graduation! Thanks to everyone who really made prom 2k15 so ALIVE!

Buffalo Wild Wings Cravings :P (FC)

Have you ever crave something so bad and wish you had it right in front of you? Well right now I'm craving Buffalo Wilds Wings. I am craving their spicy Jamming Jalapeno and Parmesan Garlic boneless wings! Just saying that made me crave it more lol. Their wings are amazing, but they taste even more amazing when you dip it in blue cheese or ranch sauce. I would usually get the boneless wings with fries and bacon... mmmmmmm. I like how their service is. The times I've gone to BWW, the waitresses were very nice. They would always make sure that everything's good.

They have different kinds of sauce on a meter from non spicy to extremely spicy. I love spicy food. I feel like spicy food just gives the food more flavor and kick up the taste. My favorite will always be Jamming Jalapeno and Parmesan Garlic. Next time I go to BWW I will try out a different sauce. I love Buffalo Wild Wings!

Furious 7 and Paul Walker (SSR)

This movie was such a great movie! There was a lot of actions that were incredibly fascinating. The crew were all reunited to go on a mission. There were a lot of scenes in the movie where one of them would be really close of almost dying. Those scenes were really scary and shocking because of the way they can make the movie look so realistic! But whenever one of them were in trouble, the team all had each others back no matter what. That's what I mostly like about the movie, the way they worked as a team to complete their mission.

The ending was pretty sad because of Paul Walker. Paul Walker was such a great actor. He was young and I am still very shocked about the car accident. The fact that he has been in the movie doing racing with cars and then have a car accident is horrible and terribly sad. The song "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa was for Paul Walker. Its such a beautiful song. When many hears this song they tend to cry because they would start thinking about their love ones. In the loving memory, we will always love and remember you Paul Walker.

English (CRR)

For English class, I really like the website that we started using to help us with grammar errors. The website is called noredink.com. This is a great website for those who are having grammar issues. You can choose any characters from any show, movie or any actors. They uses these character's names in sentences that has grammar errors, and you would have to click on the work that is incorrect and choose the correct one. This has helped me improved with my grammar errors.

For this website, we would first take practice test, then we would take a quiz. For the practice test, if you choose the wrong answer more than 2 times, it would show you an example of the correct format, which I find really helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has problems with their grammar. You will slowly start to see how much you have improve because of this website.

Traveling (PB)

Someday I'm going to travel to places where I would want to spend my vacations. There are so many places out there that I would love to visit. Ever since I went to Florida and Washington D.C for the first time, it felt so amazing and how nice it was to be somewhere else besides home. You see a whole new view out there and see things that you don't usually see. Like something different! I want to visit Paris, Rome, Italy, Spain, California, Greece, Los Angeles, etc. I want to have everything all planned out, which hotel, places to go, just basically plan a trip.

Who wouldn't want to travel? Even though I'm a little bit scared of airplanes because of what I've seen on the news about something horrible happening, I'm still going to stay positive and not let that stop me from traveling. Maybe soon when I'm old enough and have a great job, I'll be able to fulfill these dreams of mines!

Economics (SSR)

In my Economics class, we are creating our own business plan. We are each in different groups. Each group have to create a business such as a hotel, your own restaurant, sneaker store, mall or anything you want it to be. My group is deciding to create a place where you can have fun, eat, chill and use computers for any help you need with work. We wanted to create a place where anyone can come when they have nothing else to do during their spare time. Our business place is called "Paradise". We chose this name because it means a place where everyone can just be happy and good. Theirs games, and a buffet where you can eat any kind of foods you want. Upstairs there will be computers where you can use to help you research with a project or homework help. We will have great comfy couches where you can sit, relax and read your book. I actually like what we're doing in our Economics class because its giving me a feel about how to make and run a business.

Because of Economics, it is helping me understand how the economy is being build and the process of how it runs. I feel like I will be learning a lot in this class because if I'm majoring in Business, in the field of IT (Information Technology), I have to know about economics.

Forensics (ID)

In forensics, our class have been using a microscope looking at hair fibers. I find it so interesting how a microscope can help you see the tiniest things. It gives you a unclose view, and you can actually see what and how it really looks like. The hair fibers looked transparent. I was able to see through it. There was once I took a string of my hair and looked at it up close with a microscope. I was amazed by how it looks like up close. It was brown and looked like a skinny tube. I like how the microscope has different objectives to help you see it more closer. I would like to examine interesting things. Maybe even examining a tiny piece of fruit, hair, cells or anything. 

I think forensics is a very interesting class. We learned so many things such as how to find out what happened in a crime scene, we did a project of drugs, body farm, bug cycle, etc. 

"The Best of Me" (Movie)

"The Best of Me" is about a girl name Amanda (Michelle Monaghan) and Dawson (James Marsden) who were once high-school sweethearts. They have a bittersweet reunion when they return to their hometown for the funeral of a mutual, beloved friend. Seeing each other again after 20 years apart reignites the love they've never forgotten, but Amanda and Dawson soon discover that the forces that drove them apart when they were younger pose even more threats today.

This movie was so interesting to me once Iv'e saw the trailer. It was romantic, it gave me feelings, and it was so sad. It was sad because of everything they have gone through to be with each other. Amanda father did not see Dawson as a great boyfriend to date his daughter. He think Dawson wasn't good enough for her. He saw him as poor, which I thought was very rude. Amanda did not care because she loved Dawson very much. Dawson's father was just very disrespectful and would always hit his son. He didn't treat his son like how a father should. And because of his Dawson father, that why Amanda and Dawson end up going there separate ways. It's crazy how it can be so difficult for people who are in love and they have to go through so much just to be with each other, which can relate to many.

Passion for Art (PB)

I have a passion for art. I love to sketch/draw. Every since I was little, art is something that I enjoy to do. When I have nothing to do a home, I would find something at home like a frame, a picture, etc. Just something that I can draw/sketch. I notice that I have really good visual techniques. It's like I can transfer the image that I'm looking at onto a sheet of paper.

I love to draw basically anything that I see that's beautiful or interesting to me. I once drew my grandmother and it look exactly like her. I drew her with a marker. Drawing is something I just love to do and it's just something that I'm really good at.

My summer vacation to Florida - Panama City Beach (FC)

My summer vacation to Florida was so amazing! The weather over there was hot, but if you lived near a beach you'll love it. We stayed at a beautiful Condo. I loved the feeling off the cool air conditioner as such as we enter our condo. The first thing I did was explore and check out the Condo. There were three rooms, a pullout bed on the couch, a Jacuzzi, three bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a balcony with the amazing view of the beach! When we were changing into our bathing suit and getting ready to go down, I couldn't wait to feel the warm sand on my feet. They had 2 big pools too. While on the beach, we were setting up our beach umbrella, beach chairs, etc. We played in the water, bogey board, meet different people, went out to eat at restaurants, movies, mall and had such a great time! 

My vacation to Florida was awesome! It felt like if it was a dream. The malls over there were so pretty and colorful. The people over there were very nice. Just having the view of the beach when you step out onto the balcony was so beautiful. I love how I found seashells and I saved it for memory. We also went to a Souvenir shop and I got myself a cool key chain with my name on it and bracelets. I thanked my Uncle and Aunt for taking my sister and I on vacation with them.

My Statistics class (ID)

I really enjoy being in my Statistics class. My teacher name is Mr.Rich. He is a great teacher. I never thought I was going to be good at a statistics class until I had him. He explains his lessons very well and makes sure everyone understood it. We learned how to find the statistics, parameter, interval, ratio, etc on statistic word problems. He is a really nice and funny teacher, and gets along very well with his students which is important. I'm grateful to have him as my statistics teacher. We are also learning how to do Histograms, Ogives, Frequency Polygon and Stem & Leaf Plots.

So far, I have learned a lot from my Statistics class. It's very interesting how just by a data set we can do a Stem & Leaf plot, Histogram, etc.

       This song is called "Shower" by Becky G. I have so many favorite songs and this is one of them. I like the beat of the song when it starts off. I can definitely relate to the lyrics because it reminds me of someone very special who means a lot to me. The part where it says "Think of you when I'm going to bed, when I wake up think of you again, you are my homie, lover and friend exactly why...", this part reminds me of when we say goodnight and good morning to each other and when we think about each other. This person is the reason why I would be "dancing in the mirror and singing in the shower" lol. Every time my special someone is around "I always seem to smile" because of how happy I am with him. There are times where it ".. get rough.. there ain't no giving up." This part of the song shows how strong our relationship is.. we don't give up on our loving and amazing relationship. 
       This song is very catchy. I love how this song rhymes. Every time my sisters and I hear this song we all start to sing it. My favorite part to sing from this song is "You light me up inside like the fourth of July". This is very descriptive and this part means that this person gives you a lot of feelings like butterflies in your stomach. Thats how I can feel when my amazing special someone is with me. 

My Passion (PB)

My passion has always been becoming an actress and model. When I'm watching my favorite movies, t.v shows and the actors act, I would sometimes picture myself doing the act. At home I would act out a scene in my room with my sisters or cousins. I would pretend I'm on a mission, I work with the F.B.I and all of these other amazing ideas that comes to mind. If someone tells me to act out a scene like if I was mad, happy, in love, etc. with someone, I would. I feel like I would do a great job and I'll definitely have a great time. There has been a lot of people telling me that I would be a great actress and that I look like an actress. Modeling has been something I always wanted to do since little. I actually got accepted to a really great modeling school, but couldn't do it because of how busy I was most of the time. I never actually had the time to do it and it was also pretty expensive. But who knows, maybe in the future I'll end up actually following my passion.

Technology (CRR)

In my English class we are talking about technology. Technology is used for many occasions. It has a lot of positives and negatives. The good things about technology is that it can help find and do research on anything. You can communicate with people through cell phone and social networking. It can help you with homework and also learn around the world. One of the most famous website to search for basically anything is "Google". Google can search up anything you need help on. The danger teenagers face in dealing with technology is that their brains can become more easily habituated to become attached to technology, than adult brains to constantly switching tasks and less able to sustain to support and strengthen attention. What makes me curious about technology is what if there were no technology? We would probably be lost and not know anything of what we know now because in today's society, technology is a major part in our lives to help us learn new things and help us with our work.

(FC) Intro

Hi, my name is Leslie. I am 17 years old. I'm funny, sweet, dedicated, honest, intelligent and loyal. I love to sing, dance, and I would actually love to be an actress. Ever since I was a little girl, I was that girl who is really good at imitating people and pretend I was playing roles of people. When I see my favorite T.V shows/movie, I would sometimes picture myself acting in a T.V show/movie. Currently, my favorite actress is Ximena Duque. When I see her on T.V she makes me want to become actress, but that's not just what I want to major in. I also would like to become a model. I always dreamed to be a model ever since I was 8 years old. My favorite animal is dogs. I think puppies/dogs are just the cutest, playful, loving, caring animals. I would never do no such harm to any animals. Another thing that seems to interest me in is Marketing and Computer Information Systems, it seems interesting to me because both my uncle and aunt majored in Computer Information Systems. I love to draw/sketch. I am really good at visualizing an image and drawing the exact same thing onto a sheet of  white paper. I love to be creative and do art. People have told me their selves that I'm a great artist. My favorite sports are baseball, softball, basketball, and volley ball. My favorite baseball team are the YANKEES. There are a lot of things that I want to major in life, but the one main thing that I want to major in life is being successful in life!     

Chocolate (FC)

I love chocolate! My cravings for chocolate can be a little crazy sometimes! Especially at midnight, when I start to crave... HERSHEY'S! Hershey's is my favorite chocolate bar candy. Chocolate makes me happy because I love it so much. Only my family and friends would know how much I love chocolate. When I'm tired and stressed, and I eat chocolate, it makes forget a little about being tired. My friends would buy me chocolate or even surprise me with chocolate. I once seen the biggest Hershey bar EVER! There was a raffle and for every ticket, it was a dollar! So I put in like five dollars for five tickets, hoping that I will win it but, sadly I was not the winner. Who ever won it, they are so lucky! 

U.S. History and Global History (CRR)

I always wonder, why do we need U.S History and Global History class?... I understand that all these wars and horrible people back then has done a lot of damage to this world... but it not like we will need to know this in the future. What matters is now... not the past! Well the past does matter, but what really matters is what's happening now. People should try and start to make a better change in their lives to become a better person. Global History and U.S. History is not really my favorite subject. I don't seem to understand and remember all the things that happened in the past. There is a lot of things that happened in the past that we need to remember, but it's just so many. For some reason these classes and I don't seem to connect. I try my best to listen and understand, but it seems like it just goes through one ear and out through the other ear. Others find this subject pretty easy and that's great! I hope I do well on all my regents ...especially U.S. History regents!

Struggles (FC)

Everyone struggles in life. School can be a struggle sometimes with all these projects, homework, exams, tests and quizzes! Right now I'm struggling because I was suppose to do this blog yesterday, but sadly I just couldn't, with all this homework I'm having. I'm trying my best in school and so far, I am doing great. I'm receiving 80's and mostly 90's in all my classes. But there is one class that I just can't seem to stay on the 90's. Sometimes I feel like a need someone who will be there to help me with all my problems/situations. I hope life in the future, I won't struggle with things. I'm in the 11th grade and I'm struggling just thinking about how college is going to be like; and how my future is going to look like. But I can't think about all the negatives, I have to think about the positives in life. What I know for sure is that I want to finish high school, go to college, and be successful!

My Puppy Jeter! :) (FC)

This is my puppy Jeter. As you can see his name says it all. He is named after my favorite baseball player. I'm a Yankees fan; and my favorite baseball player is #2, Derek Jeter. It was my sisters and I who decided to name him Jeter. I LOVE this puppy like crazy! Every time I get home from school, I have a huge smile on my face for 2 reasons; happy cause I'm going home and seeing my baby Jeter. Ever since I got this puppy I was full of excitement because I always dreamed about having a puppy. He brings a lot of joy and happiness to my life. He's my everything. I have treats for him and so I taught him some tricks. So far he knows how to sit, lie down, spin, stand, give me high five with his 2 paws and give me paw. He is a very talented puppy and I'm glad I have him in my life.
