English Elective - "Bullying" (CRR)
In my English Elective class we are talking and watching a movie about bullying. Why do people bully? Its horrible knowing all the bad things that had happened to the ones who got bullied. Some hanged themselves, some suffered, some stayed shut and not say a word about what's going on, and most of them commit suicide. Now, hearing all of this is very depressing and sad. A bully has nothing better to do in their life. Bullies bully others to make them feel better about themselves. I don't get this! Why would you bully someone to make you feel better? That's not helping you feel better; that's just getting yourself into more problems than you already have. Some schools would have bullies because some teachers or principles wouldn't even pay that much attention to their students. Some would think that by making the bully apologize to the one who is being bullied; it will stop the bully to do it again. NO! What they have should've done was warned the bully one last time. So instead of saying, "say sorry and shake hands", the correct way to say it is, "you are warned, next time I hear you bother this child or anyone else, you will have detention and I will speak with your parents about this". Therefore, the bully will now understand that bullying others will just get them in trouble.

That scene where she tells them to shake hands is so frustrating! I agree with you. Do you think that just telling them not to do it again will really stop them?
